why do you need to change kernel drivers? Are the buggy or why do you need/want to fix them?I am wondering if I should go for "user-space" approach (I2C communication/logic in my C program) or in-kernel drivers that will handle low level I2C to all these ICs. I've checked that MCP23017, LTC2990, BME680 have kernel drivers, but I will need to do minor modifications to all of them (it is not a problem). What do You think?
