Troubleshooting • Pico 2 not flashing uf2 files

I recently bought a couple pico 2's for personal use, I tried flashing micropython and circuit python using a usb A to micro usb cable, it works for my xbox controller so I'm pretty sure it has data. Every time I drag and drop something into the RP1-RP2 drive it does not automatically reboot, I've tried flashnuke already and it successfully rebooted. But nothing else seems to work. The files I've tried are "RPI_PICO2-20260406-v1.28.0.uf2" and "adafruit-circuitpython-raspberry_pi_pico2-en_US-10.2.1.uf2" from https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentati ... ython.html
and https://circuitpython.org/board/raspberry_pi_pico2/ respectively.
