I have a problem with my Raspberry Pi 4 Model B that it cannot detect any cameras. Despite trying to enable it from the Raspberry Pi OS (previously known as Raspbian) settings panel, the camera-related option simply does not appear available. I have tried different cameras and checked the port to rule out connection errors, but without success. To rule out the problem being with the Raspberry Pi card itself, I used an SD card from a colleague and it worked perfectly on my device.
I have tested both the 64-bit and 32-bit versions of Raspberry Pi OS, making sure to use the most recent version available, installed via Raspberry Pi Imager. The objective of my project is quite simple: it is a task that the teacher assigned us, which consists of taking a photo from the command terminal.
It's worth mentioning that I'm controlling the Raspberry Pi via VNC Viewer from my laptop, in case this might influence the issue.
