Raspberry Pi OS • Re: Will Google Chrome be available for the 64-bit of the Raspberry Pi?

Sorry I may be dumb but I fail to grasp, what could be the advantage if any of G**gle Chrome over the free Chromium we all use and love ? I thought Chromium was essentially the core of Chrome without the crap, advertisement, tracking and user enslaving from the G**gle branded browser - please do show me wrong if indeed I have been mistaken.

You have ungoogled-chromium as an AppImage that I've been using for 6 months or so now. Still support for uBlock Origin. We'll see how long, I know it works in v151 too.

Personally, I don't use any streaming services so have no problems with DRM. I use YouTube, but try to get away from bigtech as much as possible. Personally, I'm not so happy if they replace Chromium with Chrome.
