I would go with several smaller microSD cards rather than one 256GB card.
Then it is easy to swap between test configurations and try new things.

I do have some SD cards laying around, but I dont think they are the fastest. I assume Class 10 is the speed I should use for performance reasons?

How about OSs? any favorites?
I was thinking to have several on this 256GB, but maybe it's better to then have for example 3x8GB/16GB and each have one OS?
