Seems it's another improvement that's actually made things worse for us pensioners that are just content to run with things rather than surf the bleeding edge of new stuff until we have to update then have issues transitioning.
Seems my next problem will be transitioning from Pulse Audio to PipeWire Audio. On my Ubuntu laptop the improvement has already returned crappy, noisy audio. Was going to investigate with Trixie until this setback. Research only suggests a work around, limit input to 30%, rather than any actual fix. My Buster was good for 100% input audio levels. I need 100% clear undistorted audio.
