A few comments/questions:

1. Closed source and charged for is hardly "Open"
2. If I were you I'd double check that my use of "Pi" and a similar logo to the Raspberry Pi opne doesn't violate any trademarks or copyrights
3. What's needed on the Pi end in order for this app to work? Is that closed source too?
4. Does it work over the public internet and if so, what holes do I need to open in my firewall(s)?
5. Will there be an Android version?

Thanks for the questions, here are some clarifications:

1. Open Pi is not open-source right now because it’s a commercial project, not just a hobby project. I’ve invested a significant amount of time and money into developing it.

2. The logo is inspired by simple geometric shapes, but it does not reuse Raspberry Pi branding or assets. “Pi” is also a very common term used in many different products and projects.

3. The only required component on the Raspberry Pi side is the Open Pi Agent. It’s mainly used for notifications and alerts, and it’s optional depending on the user’s setup.

4. The app works locally by default. If users want remote access, they can configure their own tunnel or home VPN solution. The only remote-related feature I currently provide is an optional alert agent for notifications like CPU overheating or system warnings.

5. Yes, the Android version is currently in development.
