Read the error messages and consider what they mean and why they are occurring. Post the relevant code and the messages if still unsure.keep failing with various GPIO errors
Knowing that a program worked on a previous install is seldom of any use, unless your solution will be to go back to that install. There will be thousands of things that have changed between releases, plus dozens of things you may have configured differently between installs, independent of the OS version. And the code might always have had hidden bugs, that by luck were not triggering.
It is the error messages that tell you where to start looking.
