Discussed earlier in this very long thread, with hardest possible (fft type) stress-ng never above 82.05°C.just curious, what temps are you getting like that ?
from mine for example, when i had the active cooler it would stay between 50' & 65'
That after 20min of continuous running, so throttling never happened (that starts at 85°C):

And most workloads are not as hard than that artificial stress test, so have less temperature.
I did factor 120 decimal digit RSA-120 semiprime in only 5.1h on Pi5 with multithreaded cado-nfs.py:

Temperatures were in the low 70s degrees during that computation.
P.S:
I use my Pi5 hanging, so until today the bottom had free air access.
Since today I have NVME base installed, will have to see whether that makes a difference or not (I don't expect a difference):
