  1. Is that 5G mobile data or 5GHz band WiFi? They are not the same thing at all.
  2. What is the IP address of your laptop including its netmask?
  3. How does the laptop get it's address?
  4. What is the laptop's default gateway set to?
  5. Are you 100% certain you're using the correct IP address for the Pi?
  6. Similarly, on the PI:
    1. What is its IP address including its netmask?
    2. How does the Pi get its address?

The error you're reporting has nothing to do with the Pi itself and everything to do with network configuration on your laptop. Your laptop doesn't know how to reach machines in the 192.168.x.x subnet (whatever netmask you're using).

Usually that means it's in a different subnet and will try it's default gateway. But 192.168.0.0/16 is not routable over the public internet and your laptop may not have a default gateway set anyway.
