Raspberry Pi OS • Re: Position and size of application window

On my PI5-8G running Bookworm (fully updated).....

when i open CALC, i click the "middle" selection in the upper-right of the title bar (toggle between windowed and full-screen) and then it keeps the size i set.
i close CALC, re-open it, the window is just as i left it.

So, I"m not seeing the behavior you describe.

RPi5 CM Lite 8Gb installed in a genuine RPi Dev Kit w/NVME SSD.

I tried exactly what you said. Double click to open an existing .ODS. The file opens in full screen with decorations/title and with lots of flashing, decorations/title go away (labwc crashing ?) Change one number. Resize/reposition the window. Click the X on the top left and say "Save". It does not exit but returns to the LibreOffice Menu !! Double click, repeat the same behavior.

STRANGER YET !!

If I open a new Calc from the Office Menu, close it (without adding any data), it comes up full screen with decorations/title. Close. Open the existing .ODS from the previous example. The file opens in full screen with decorations/title, but they stay !
