I think MitchF's 3D printing adapter is a very cool idea.

I would like to mention another possibility without having to remove a resistor, the Arducam B0445 IMX296 global shutter camera
module with M12 lens and all signals at 2.54mm pitch. Works very well.

Thanks, I'm interested in learning more but can't seem to find documentation on my questions, can you direct us? My particular use case is two IR sensitive IMX296 in stereo configuration. Do you have any insight into these questions?

1. Wiring requirements for the B0445 to trigger together?
2. Software requirements to control the triggering, framerate and exposure of B0445?
3. Works on RPI5 with latest OS; plays well with rpicam-vid and Picamera2?
4. B0445 includes an IR filter, is it easily removed?
