SDK • Can't get TinyUSB HID to work

I have a Pico W that I want to work as a keyboard/mouse. I used the "New Project From Example" to create the dev_hid_composite example. I can't get it to type or move the mouse. It isreaching the tud_hid_keyboard_report and tud_hid_mouse_report functions and tud_task. It does show up in Windows Device manager. I tried another USB port.

I'm out of ideas what to try next and could really use some suggestions.
