I logged into my itunes account using the Apple Web Player (music.apple.com). I as able to login to my account and play music but my system froze after a while. There is also a beta web player link on the page but I had similar problems with it. Maybe my Pi 400 needs more ram or its time to upgrade to one of the faster Pi 5 options. You might have better luck with a Pi500.
