I used to get that problem running a Pi2B with the 7" RPF screen. Rather than doing a pass-through connection, get a USB splitter cable and run one branch to the screen and the other to the Pi. (Side note...for battery operation, I use one battery port for the Pi and another for the screen.)Need a new power supply for a raspberry pi 3.
I'm running latest software and MagicMirror.
Enclosed with a 7" touch screen.
Also using a USB wireless antenna. Internal wireless not enough.
Since updating I'm getting the low power warning constantly. Would a 4amp or 5amp power supply be right? If so, which one would you recommend.
If you're running the power through the Pi3B, going over 2.5A won't do anything directly, though it might reduce the chance of voltage sag under load.
