Playing with code is part of the fun of Raspberry Pi and the foundation had a STEM goal of releasing it in the first place. I am an old hobbyist from the VIC 20, C64, Amiga and DOS days. The Pi brings back all the old nostalgic challenges and that is the whole purpose of it anyway. We just have far more powerful hardware now ready to be used and abused on even greater projects. I had gotten bored of computing on large desktop builds. The challenge of building and seeing what I can run on a Pi 5 is fun and surprisingly, quite a lot is in reach.
